By participating in the Challenge, participants agree to the following:

1. Original Work: Your submission must represent your own (or your team’s) original research or project idea. Collaborative work must properly credit all contributors.
2. Presentation Requirements: Participants agree to deliver their pitch according to the format and timing guidelines provided. If selected, finalists must submit a video pitch by the specified deadline.
3. Screening for Originality: Submissions (written and video) may be screened for plagiarism, AI-generated content, and other forms of non-original work.
4. Use of Materials: Participants authorize the Global Development Network (GDN) to record, publish, and promote their written summaries and videos, with full acknowledgment, across online and offline platforms.
5. Eligibility Compliance: Participants confirm that they meet the contest eligibility criteria (research affiliation, career stage, and country of residence as outlined).
6. Selection and Awards: The judging panel’s decisions are final. Awards and invitations to GDC 2025 are subject to quality thresholds and available resources.
7. Travel and Representation: If a team submission is selected, only the designated lead researcher will be invited to GDC 2025.
8. Data Privacy: Personal data collected through this form will be used solely for competition administration and GDC 2025-related activities, handled securely in accordance with data protection standards.
