By submitting an entry to the Opinion Essay Challenge, participants agree to the following:

1. Original Work: The essay must be the original work of the participant. Entries must not have been previously published or submitted to other competitions.
2. Authorship Confirmation: The participant affirms that they are the sole author of the submitted essay and that all sources or references are properly acknowledged.
3. Screening for Originality: Participants consent to their essay being screened for originality using plagiarism and AI detection tools.
4. Use of Submissions: Participants grant GDN non-exclusive rights to publish or promote their essays, with full attribution to the author.
5. Eligibility: Participants must meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the contest guidelines (e.g., nationality, academic level).
6. Selection and Prizes: Selection decisions made by the judging panel are final. Organizers reserve the right to withhold prizes if submissions do not meet minimum quality standards.
7. Data Privacy: Personal information collected will only be used for contest administration, communication, and publication purposes related to the contest.
